Interagency OPSEC Support Staff
From the IOSS website: “The Interagency OPSEC Support Staff (IOSS) was created to support the National OPSEC Program by providing tailored training, assisting in program development, producing multimedia products and presenting conferences for the defense, security, intelligence, research and development, acquisition and public safety communities. Its mission is to help government organizations develop their own, self-sufficient OPSEC programs in order to protect U.S. programs and activities.”

Information Shield
IS provides information security leading practices, and develops pre-packaged information security policies, templates tools and implementation guidance that is customizable and compliant with Government policy and regulation, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, GLBA, or HIPAA. Information Shield has also provided a customer discount code for OSPA members.

 

SARMA
SARMA is a non-profit professional association serving those responsible for analyzing and managing security risks to systems, structures, operations and information systems from man-made threats. SARMA provides a collaborative and open environment to promote the further development, standardization, and professionalization of the security analysis and risk management disciplines.

 

The Electronic Warfare and Information Operations Association (Association of Old Crows)
The Association of Old Crows (AOC) is a not-for-profit international professional association with over 13,500 members and 100+ organizations engaged in the science and practice of Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Operations (IO), and related disciplines.”
AOC has members in 47 countries with 65 chapters in 19 countries. AOC’s membership includes executives, scientists, engineers, managers, operators, educators, and military personnel. Founded in 1964, the AOC owns a headquarters building in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside Washington, DC.

 

The Security Executive Council is a risk mitigation research and services organization for security and risk executives from corporations and government agencies in charge of corporate and/or IT security programs. The Council capitalizes on practitioner input, professional staff, and a distinguished faculty of former security executives and security content experts to develop tools, solutions and services. The mission of the Council is to work with its member community to help lower the cost of their security programs, make program development more efficient and establish security as a recognized value center. We work one-on-one with our members at a leadership level to implement change and to create successful security programs.

IASE
The Information Assurance Support Environment (IASE) web site is a clearinghouse for Information Assurance Information serving the DOD community. This is a great resource for IA-related information, resources and tools, and is a “must see” for all IA personnel.

 

The OSINT Search Tool
A great online collection of links and custom search boxes to allow the OPSEC practitioner to quickly and easily search for Open Source Intelligence.

 

OPSEC Society
Professional OPSEC Association that offers credentialing and other services.
